Kemira Oyj is a chemical industry group headquartered in Helsinki, Finland. The company was established in 1920 and has developed into a global leader in its two main segments, Industry&Water and Pulp&Paper. Full history including a history video can be found on the company's website. Antti Salminen is Kemira's President and CEO since February 2024. Kemira's main shareholder is Oras Invest Oy and its owners, members of the Paasikivi family. Its former main owner, the State of Finland through Solidium, sold the largest part of its holding to Finnish investors in August 2007 and divested its remaining shares in 2023-2024.
